I have been reading a good wee bit lately into a range of books that have got me thinking about two or three different things.

First thing that has me thinking is the concept of fate. That is that our lives have already been written out for us by some greater being that through us controls the way the world or the world works.

So that is like saying a greater being has inspired us to do something he wants us to do by creating a whole dynamo effect sort of thing. Look below and I'll explain:

Ok a greater being wants one person to take out a great evil (slightly cliched but what the heck).So if this is to happen many things may have to take place, like the birth of that person who will take out the great evil.

So putting it in such a way that this person has to take out this great evil in such a way that is humanly possible influences have to be brought in.

1) Baby is born, has doting parents

2) At the same time a war breaks out and causes a further part of the world to be consumed in it.

3) 7 years later the war reaches the land of our one person and his beloved parents are killed.

4) Our 7 - 8 year old person is devastated but is mad on revenge.

5) Our kid is now 21, the war is still on, he has learnt about his enemies and their leader, the great evil.

6) He goes in with a squad of infantry fellas and the majority of them get blown away: more hatred.

7) After this he hears of a stealth group that intend to get into the city of the great evil and kill him.

8) after being found out about in the stronghold the group are split apart and hardly any are left, by chance happening our fella bumps into the great evil and kills him, the evil army are kinda shit upon now, no leader was like their great evil leader.

9) after this our hero is happy, marries and goes on to live on a farm for the rest of his days.


What's the point in all this? The concept of fate if it ran our fella's life here had to draw in many other people, not just the great evil, nor the mother and father but the majority of the world to make this thing run into motion.

For instance:

1) A weapon maker makes guns.

2) He makes the gun the goes to our fella

3) The fella kills the great evil with that gun


Or:

1) A couple a teenagers have sex

2) they have a kid

3) the kid is sent to a foster home cause the parents arent willing to look after him

4) the kid hates all this shit and in turn joins the army

5) after five years in the army he meets our fella

6) they can relate to each other over things like loss and whatnot

7) a friendship is made

8) our fella's friend is killed by a shell, this deepens his hatred more.


These are attempts to show people that in the concept of fate irregardless of who you are, you will always have a part to play because of a thing you do or say will affect the mind of another and in turn make it's way to the key figure in this chain and help fate come to a halt.

But does a bad person have a role to play in this fate? Well yes they would, they are equally an influence. But why should they survive to kill so many people?

Well they are human, throughout our gruesome history it is in our primitive nature to kill and maim and destroy, it is just others who disregard this try and dismiss their more primitive and destructive nature. If a greater being could do this in such a way, he would as I said before have to take into account that he could only humanly (without magic spells and the likes, unless you consider the usage of science as magic!) carry out the role of fate to one of it's conclusions. Maybe all the greater being is guarding the the well being of the planet and all the greater being has is the time to specifically plan out the certain roles everyone is to be given in the great story of our world aeons before we are born, and maybe all s/he can do is foresee the future and this planning is the only thing possible to prevent this destruction.

But why stop there? Maybe the fate of our world is a minute fraction on the fate of our universe, and even though it is such a minute fraction of the universe like before it wouyld have a part to play no matter how small.

Problems in this? Where is our freedom here if all our lives have been written for us? Well we would have no actual freedom. And what if we just say we would dismiss our fate? Well maybe that was written for us to do in the first place in turn to influence another person and so on. All that can be done here is walk on, live and know you are blind to the future even if it may already be written out for us all.
